“I was skeptical at first because I liked to lift heavy weights (body build), and this type of training is geared more towards total body, functional, and core training. I was worried that I would lose muscle mass and become weaker. This could not have been further from the truth. Steve Krebs pushes you to limits that you never thought possible. Its definitely hard work, but it you are a serious athlete looking to step up your game, Next Level is the place for you. I came in with three herniated discs in my lower back, suffered during a hockey practice. It only took about two weeks of corrective exercise and stretching for my pain to go away. So if you are an injured athlete, Next Level can help you recover faster and get back out there. I wish I found out about Next Level sooner.”

“Throughout my wrestling career I have experienced many injuries. These injuries included multiple shoulder dislocations in each shoulder, a torn ligament in my knee, and lower back problems. As each season would come to an end I would always try to find the best way to go about training for the next season in an attempt to decrease my chance of injury. I finally found the best training with Steve Krebs at Next Level Athletic Performance. I had a shoulder reconstruction following my junior year. After Physical Therapy, I started training at Next Level. Steve helped my body as a whole with corrective exercise. Once I was healthy, he worked on strength, power, and conditioning. It was the first season ever that I did not have a shoulder dislocation or any other season ending injury. If I didn't take action and train at Next Level, I would have been too far behind in my strength and conditioning due to the surgery, and I would not have made it to the NYS Championship Tournament. Steve Krebs is without a doubt the best trainer in the area, and is knowledgeable in all aspects of health and fitness. If you are a serious athlete then you should take advantage of this superior style of training offered at Next Level Athletic Performance.”

“I started training at Next Level prior to my lacrosse season. Before training with Steve I had always felt in shape, but I never reached that “next level”. My shooting was weak, and my speed was average. After training at Next Level I noticed immediate results. My shot is faster, my cuts are more powerful, and I have a greater burst of speed. I feel as though I'm never tired on the field. This was after only a few weeks of training with Steve. Each exercise that Steve puts his athletes through translates right onto the field of play. Also, the stretching techniques taught at Next Level allowed me to avoid minor nagging injuries and soreness that I felt hindered my performance in the past. The results I obtained from training at Next Level impressed my coaches so much that they tried to find ways for me to make an impact in each game. Every session at Next Level, Steve provides an environment for success. He has the drive to see each of his athletes succeed.Seeing his dedication for what he does causes me to work harder. I wish I had been able to train with Steve earlier in my athletic career.”

“Since joining Next Level in October of 2007 I have gotten into the best shape of my life. It has greatly affected my athletic performance in travel and varsity Ice Hockey, as well as Varsity Lacrosse. I've gained speed, and reached a point of strength I never thought I could accomplish. Training at Next Level has helped increase my confidence, and better myself as an athlete.”

“Training with Steve Krebs at Next Level Athletic Performance has really helped me become a better athlete. I began my training early spring 2008. After going through just few sessions I noticed improvement in baseball, especially hitting. Prior to training at Next Level, I was mainly a base hit batter. Most of my hits were singles. After a couple months of training I am hitting the ball with more power, and have gotten more doubles and triples. I have also become a better pitcher. I am throwing faster, and have gotten more strikeouts. I also have been able to pitch longer because of my increased endurance. I have only been training at Next Level for a few months and I have gotten alot stronger. I cannot wait to see how much this training will help me in Basketball. Training at Next Level is helping me become a better athlete.”

I've been going to Next Level Athletic Performance for almost 1 year. It's hard work, but Steve makes it fun! I look forward to going every week, and I feel alot better at the end of every workout. I feel quicker, more balanced, and have better footwork. I also feel stronger in all of my muscles. These are some of the reasons why I think more people should train at Next Level.

The past two years have not been the smoothest by all means. I had many injuries that kept me from playing. I tore my ACL twice and had a series of muscle strains that kept reoccurring. The training that I was doing was not the best for my body either. I use to lift heavy doing exercises that only bodybuilders should be doing, not athletes. I then moved away from that when I started training with the strength and conditioning coaches at my school.
I was introduced to Next Level and the training program this past winter while I was still doing my workouts with the S&C coaches. There is no comparison. I believe that many of the Olympic lifts such as cleans and snatches are great, but Steve literally takes it to the next level. Some of the Olympic lifts are still incorporated in his training but they are much more specific for you as an individual and your sport. Functional and core training are just a few of his components for success.
I feel the best physically that I have felt in years and I can directly credit Steve for that. What you do off the field in the weight room directly translates to your performance on the field. Steve takes aspects of the game and brings it into the weight room to make you stronger, faster, and more explosive. The philosophy is not about becoming a huge meat stick (which many athletes mistakenly believe), it is all about becoming stronger, functionally stable, conditioned, and overall a better athlete.
My body is pushed to the limit every single workout to simulate what I would experience during a game. The training that I have done at Next Level has improved my game immensely. Steve also has something new for every workout to make it fun and exciting. I have now trained at two Division I institutions and can confidently say that Steve Krebs is one of the best that I have seen. I will always train doing exercises that I have learned from Steve!
